Scott Lee, Company Administrator, here, and Director Stephen Wolfe is off to Orlando, Florida where he will be getting coverage of Halloween Horror Nights. Meanwhile, I did some promotional work today that may result in about 150 new views to episode 1 of Barton Police. It is crazy to think that we still have an insanely long road ahead of us to get our first 10,000 viewers, but it’s a goal that I’m confident we can reach by the end of the year if we stay on top of our game. Episode 4 is set to be released sometime next week, pending the completion of yet another visual effects scene, though I will not give away here what that scene entails. Just know that it’s probably going to be yet another groundbreaking release for Barton Ct. Productions Inc.
In the mean time, BartonPolice.com recently received a little bit of a facelift. I reorganized the information on the left hand side. New viewers coming in to see the show will now see a prominent, boldfaced warning that lets them know that Barton Police is not for the faint of heart; the controversial and often objectionable content by many viewers has now been highlighted for anyone potentially preparing to view the show. We are also getting ready to produce a censored version of the show for use in advertising and other venues following the completion of the first nine episodes in their original form. We’ll also be assembling a “movie cut” which will cut out many of the intros and excess scenes that do not pertain to the main story for use in film festivals. The first film festival we will be submitting to will be the Gulf Coast Film Festival, a local event held in Galveston, Texas. While the festival is not until the summer, we will be giving our submission sometime in January of 2010.

Scott Lee (NOT as Preston Leebo)
Recently I found myself at a friend’s birthday party where this picture of me was taken. Later on we will be releasing a video that explains how to make Preston Leebo glasses - you can almost see Leebo popping out here. All you would need to do is wipe that smile off my face, change the hair, put me in a bad 1980’s suit, give me a lame tie to wear, and poke the polarized lenses out of these 3D glasses. Believe it or not, creating the Preston Leebo image really is that simple, and that easy. Boy aren’t we clever!
When Stephen gets back to Florida we are going to be talking about some additional distribution ideas for Barton Police. Chances are good that we will be leaving Openfilm.com and instead switching to Blip.TV. Once we do, you will also see Barton Police across many other sites on the internet, including Vimeo and even iTunes. You will also be able to watch episodes of Barton Police on TiVo. Stephen loves the whole concept of Openfilm, and it does have some good parts to it, but the viewership we can gain elsewhere is simply too great to ignore. And, we’ll be wanting to channel our efforts very carefully to maximize on advertising revenues.
Barton Ct. is also already in talks with the cast and crew of the online series Barton Police to sign on for new projects: Barton Police 2 and Barton Police 3. Since the first episode, or at least the first part of it, has been seen by nearly 1000 people so far, we figure it’s safe to assume that our company will not collapse if we expand that viewership further and go ahead and greenlight the new sequels. But HEY! We have NOT, I repeat have NOT greenlighted Barton Police 2 just yet. We have simply been developing a would-be story if it is to happen and also discussing the possibilities with it. Whatever happens, Stephen Wolfe and I are both looking forward to getting the new HD equipment and brand new microphones for audio. Stephen already has a pretty solid story outline for what Barton Police 2 would have, and we have also even been talking about the various ideas we could do for Barton Police 3.
The Episode 4 trailer was put together fairly quickly less than a week ago at the time of this posting. And wow, I really like it. Justin Herman, who plays AJ Jenkins, told me personally that he thinks it’s the best trailer I’ve ever put together. And I’ve put together quite a few trailers at this point, including all of the existing trailers for I’m Not Gonna Lie and every single trailer for the Barton Police episodes, all of which you can catch at the Barton Ct. YouTube channel.
Anywho, thanks for reading and stay tuned for further updates! The Barton Ct. website is also going to be getting its very own section devoted to the coverage Stephen is doing for Halloween Horror Nights and I’ll be getting to work on that this weekend. In the mean time, enjoy Barton Police and spread the word! Our fans make the show what it is!

Did I take that picture?
