Hey, everybody! This is Scott Lee here with another splendiferous status update. Chester Smith announced tonight at a group outing to Denny’s that in 10 weeks he’s apparently going off to North Carolina for 6 months to a year, so that’s cool… Pretty crazy, but he’s said stuff like this before. Meanwhile, that means we may only have 10 weeks left to finish filming Barton Police. And instead of there being a Season One, we may just be turning Barton Police into a movie instead of an online series.
Still, things are going well. The series has now entered the phase of post production audio work, ADR dub recording for certain scenes to avoid reshoots, and for any reshoots we are doing things are always turning out better the second time we film them as opposed to the first time. Much of episodes 1 and 6 are done, and all the other episodes are continuing to be pieced together. This entire project has made us realize that perhaps we should not have been filming 9 episodes back to back this entire time…Things have been difficult, but wait until you see this beast when we begin to release it this summer.
In addition to Barton Police, we just released the teaser trailer to I’m Not Gonna Lie on the Barton Ct. YouTube Channel, so be sure to check it out, or just hit the play button below:
On a side note, I have to take the time in this short little update to give credit to Tracy Collins, Stephen Wolfe’s girlfriend and something of an assistant director to Barton Police, because she made the most wickedly awesome music video together with Stephen.
This music video was actually filmed a long while back when Stephen’s hair was kind of crazy long. Woah…
Anyway, I’ll try and get back to the Snapvine people with a voice update soon. I tried tonight at the time of this writing but experienced technical difficulties. Thanks for checking back!
